I can't help but be amazed that this guy can do pushups--on just his hands. Actually, let me explain a little better. When this guy does his fingertip pushups, his feet aren't even touching the floor.

Vocaloids: Technology starting to replace human voice

This is pretty incredible. Yamaha has developed technology to let you type in lyrics, and the computer will generate the singing. It actually sounds pretty good. I'm sure it won't be too many years and you'll have a hard time telling if it's human, or vocaloid.

I hate directing people to Myspace--I think it's the most unholy innovation to hit society, but it is a simple way to hear the vocaloid demo. Click on "Crazy" when you get there.

A friend of mine sent me this link. What a clever idea! These guys have started working on a kind of "vending machine" for crows. They find these useless pieces of metal laying around all day, but they really want food. Why not train them to give you the coins, and you give them a little food?
